Available now from Anglia Live, the ACE series common mode chokes from Eaton support CAN bus and Ethernet protocols making them ideal in automotive and industrial applications where EMI issues can be an issue. The chokes offer exceptional filtering with low parasitic capacitance to minimise noise intrusion in data lines on CAN and Ethernet modules. The series was initially developed for automotive applications and are AEC-Q200 compliant, providing rugged mechanical and electrical performance in various temperatures.
Created to provide common mode noise rejection on data and signal lines, the series uses a wire wound construction constructed on automatic winding equipment with very tight tolerances, providing inherent low parasitic capacitance and good performance consistency across production lots. The series is offered in three industry standard sizes, 0805, 1210 and 1812.
The ACE1V2012-R range is the smallest of the series, supplied in a compact 0805 case size, they provide DCR from 0.3 to 2-Ohms and Idc from 150mA to 400mA together with common mode impedances from 90 to 2200-Ohms. The operating temperature range is -40C to +105C (including self-temperature rise).
The ACE1V3225-R range is provided in an industry-standard 1210 case size, DCR is from 0.4 to 4.8-Ohms, Idc from 70mA to 300mA, common mode inductances from 11uH to 200uH and minimum common mode impedances from 300 to 2200-Ohms. Operating temperature ranges from -40C to +125C (including self-temperature rise).
The ACE1V4532-R range is supplied in an industry-standard 1812 case size, DCR is from 0.6 to 4.5-Ohms, Idc from 100mA to 250mA, common mode inductances from 11uH to 200uH and minimum common mode impedances from 300 to 10000-Ohms. Operating temperature ranges from -40C to +125C (including self-temperature rise).
