This is Arm’s highest performance Cortex-M processor, and it has just become available on Arm Virtual Hardware.
“Thanks to our collaboration with Arm, we enable early technology adoption of the Cortex-M85 processor, bringing use cases for future embedded applications with AI at the end-point,” said IAR CTO Anders Holmberg.
“Embedded Workbench for Arm” has code optimisation capabilities for performance and power, debugging and analysis – the latter including static and run-time analysis tools, code and data breakpoints, run-time stack analysis, call stack visualisation, code coverage analysis and power consumption monitoring.
“For efficient automated workflows, IAR Build Tools for Arm enable cross platform-based frameworks and large-scale deployments of critical software building and testing,” claimed IAR.
v9.3 also supports Arm Cortex-M Custom Instructions.
