Recently, the industrial poverty alleviation shipbuilding project jointly built by China Electronics, Central Enterprises Industry Investment Fund for Poor Areas, China Classification Society Hainan Branch, and Zhuhai Port Co., Ltd. held a launching ceremony for a new ship in Lingao County, Hainan Province. With a total investment of 160 million yuan, the project will build 19 3,500-ton single-fuel inland multi-purpose vessels at Kaihong Shipyard.

The project officially started in December 2019. After 10 months, all the co-construction units have overcome the impact of the new crown epidemic, worked together to overcome difficulties, and took multiple measures to ensure the progress of the construction. Progress has been achieved in stages, and the first new ship has been successfully launched.

In 2012, Lingao County in Hainan Province was designated as a national-level poverty-stricken county. This time, China Electronics has joined hands with the poverty alleviation fund of central enterprises to make full use of the support policies of the capital market for poverty-stricken areas, and adopted the four main models of “industrial funds + enterprises + resources in poverty-stricken areas + poor people” to introduce the “living water” of the capital market into the poor. regions, drive the development of real industries in poverty-stricken areas, promote the best leverage of central SOE funds in poverty alleviation, and actively contribute to central SOEs in order to accelerate the overall victory in poverty alleviation.

At the previous poverty alleviation forum held by central enterprises, the person in charge of China Electronics’ poverty alleviation work said that China Electronics is striving to build the core strength and organizational platform of the national network information industry. Efforts should be made to bridge the urban-rural divide between the conceptual world, the physical world, and the information world. The first is to link concepts and concepts, and through the informatization of party building and education, to enhance the endogenous power of poverty alleviation and development in assisted areas. The second is to link market funds, and promote the integration of assisted areas into market-oriented development by absorbing farmers’ employment in factories, cultivating rural industries, bringing in social funds, and selling agricultural and sideline products.
